American Music Therapy Association
The mission of the American Music Therapy Association is to advance public awareness of the benefits of music therapy and increase access to quality music therapy services in a rapidly changing world.

The Certification Board for Music Therapists
CBMT is the only organization to certify music therapists to practice music therapy nationally. Its MT-BC program has been fully accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) since 1986. There are currently 7,517 music therapists maintaining the MT-BC credential and participating in a program of recertification designed to measure or enhance competence in the profession of music therapy.

The World Federation of Music Therapy
The WFMT is an international nonprofit organization bringing together music therapy associations and individuals interested in developing and promoting music therapy globally through the exchange of information, collaboration among professionals, and actions.

University of the Pacific, Conservatory of Music, Music Therapy Program
Pacific's Conservatory offers music education, music management, jazz studies, music composition, music history, music therapy, and master's and bachelor's degrees.
