Employment Opportunities

The Center for Music Therapy, Inc., Austin, TX is now taking applications for four positions.

1. Music Therapist: Part-time music therapy position open immediately. CPR and MT-BC need to be current. Must be independent in ability to work with all ages in specials needs and neurologic populations. Pay is $20,000 a year salary for 20 hours a week. Vacation and PTO/sick leave available after six months of employment.  Liability insurance and taxes are paid by the company.

2. Music Therapist: Part-time music therapy position open immediately. CPR and MT-BC need to be current. Must be independent in ability to work with all ages in specials needs and neurologic populations. Hourly rate of $19.23. Must be able to work a minimum of four hours a day and one day a week. Taxes and liability insurance will be paid by company.

3. Music Therapist: Hourly Contract/PRN.  CPR, Liability Insurance, and MT-BC need to be current.  Will be working with all ages with social/emotional, developmental, neurologic and medical diagnosis.  Will collaborate with other music therapists, PTs, OTs, SPs and Social Workers.  Bonus if you know Spanish and/or sign language.

4. Speech Therapist: Hourly Contract/PRN.  CPR, Liability Insurance, and licensure need to be current.  Will be working with all ages with a focus in neurologic disorders both developmental, as well as by injury and disease processes.  Will collaborate with music therapists, PTs, OTs and Social Workers.  Choral/voice experience required.  Bonus if you know Spanish and/or sign language.

5. Physical Therapist: Hourly Contract/PRN.  CPR, Liability Insurance, and licensure need to be current.  Will be working with all ages with a focus in neurologic disorders both developmental, as well as by injury and disease processes.  Will collaborate with music therapists, OTs, SPs and Social Workers.  Musical experience required.  Bonus if you know Spanish and/or sign language.
